4.5 - Modules

The "Modules" form can be used to specify the course units offered by your institution. The elements of this table are used to manage the course units taken by incoming students and to create transcripts of records.

To open the "Modules" form, click "Configuration" in the main menu and then "Modules".

The form displays a list containing the following information about each course unit:

  • the course unit reference (alphanumeric, e.g. XR00234)
  • the course name (e.g. Principles of thermodynamics)
  • the name of the tutor (e.g. Professor Trapp)
  • the number of ECTS credits (decimal number, e.g. 3.5)
  • the duration (alphanumeric, e.g. 2S, 20h, 1 month)

You can modify the list of course units using the copy/paste function from an MS Excel document.

When a course unit is assigned to a student, the course unit is not linked to the student but copied to the student's data. Subsequently deleting the course unit from the reference list does not affect the course units already assigned or the transcripts of records.
