12.3 - New features in moveon 3.1.02

1 - Saving an Internet link to a scanned agreement

In the "Agreements" form, which can be accessed from the "Agreements" tab on the "Institutions" form, you can specify a path to a file (for example a scanned version of the signed agreement).

You can now specify an Internet link (e.g. https://documents.uni-london.co.uk/agreement_3.pdf) to a file that has been placed on the Internet using a document management Web tool.

2- Displaying the course in the list of exchanges

The "Exchanges" tab on the "Institutions" form shows a list of all exchange possibilities entered for the selected partner institution.

This list now shows the course if it was specified when the exchange possibility was entered. The list contains the field of study code followed by the code and name of the course.

3- Displaying the last update date for moveonnet data

In the "Contacts" and "Info. students" tabs on the "Institutions" form you can view the information entered by your partner in moveonnet (purple section).

The date on which this data was last updated by your partner is now displayed in moveon.

4- Sending a group email following selection of agreements/exchanges

The "Actions" form, which can be opened after making a selection, allows you to send a group email to selected contacts or persons.

This function is now also available for agreement or exchange contacts when you make a selection of agreements or exchanges. A new drop-down list on the "Correspondence" tab allows you to select the type of contact to whom you wish to send an email: departmental coordinator, tutor, etc.

5- Displaying the student number in the "Mobilities" form

The upper part of the "Mobilities" form shows the basic mobility data.

The student number now appears next to the student's name in this section.

6- Filtering grants by person type or status

The "Grants" tab on the "Fundings" form shows the list of grants for the selected funding.

You can now filter grants by grant status using the new drop-down list located at the top of the tab.

7- Filtering in the "Persons" and "Mobilities" forms

The drop-down lists in the upper part of the "Persons" and "Mobilities" forms allow you to filter elements by person type, academic year and mobility programme.

In these forms you can now filter mobilities by semester.

In the case of applications, the selected semester corresponds to the intended start semester for the mobility. In the case of mobilities, the selected semester corresponds to the semester in which the person is on mobility.

8- Transferring entries with the status "Paid"

The "Grant calculation" form, which can be accessed from the "Tools" tab on the "Fundings" form, allows you to calculate grants and then transfer the calculated amounts into entries.

When you transfer the calculated amounts into entries, you can use the "Paid" checkbox to create entries with the status "Paid".

9- Adding external IDs to reference tables

Reference tables allow you to configure reference elements for the entire software application (e.g. Mobility programmes or Agreement types).

A new field called "External ID" has been added to the "Funding types" and "Mobility types" reference tables. This field (which is included in all reference tables) allows you to specify an external number for use in comparing elements and/or communicating with an external system.
