2.2 - Technical requirements for the moveon management module

This document describes the technical requirements which your institution must meet before installing the moveon management module.

1- Server hosting the moveon database

moveon requires the use of one of the following databases:

• MySQL version 4.1.22 or later
• PostgreSQL version 8.1.15 or later
• Oracle version 8i or later
• MS SQL Server version 2000 or later
• MS Access version XP or later
  

2- Workstations using the moveon client

The following software must be installed on each workstation using the moveon client:

• MS Access version XP, 2003, 2007 or 2010
• MS Word and MS Excel version XP, 2003, 2007 or 2010
• The latest Office Service Pack
• ODBC driver appropriate to the SQL database (if an SQL database is used)

NB: If an MS Access database is used, all workstations must be running the same version of MS Access.
