9.1 - Short presentation of the modules

moveonline consists of 5 online extension modules for moveon. These modules enable the online application of outgoing and incoming exchange students and the online publication of international co-operations, exchange possibilities and student reports.

1- moveonline outgoing – online application for outgoing students

moveonline outgoing provides you with an online application pro­cess for your outgoing students. Students applying for a mobility at partner institutions must complete and submit an online application form on your website. A PDF version of the application is then printed and signed by the students and sent to the coordinators responsible for the selection of outgoing students, possibly also at a faculty level. The coordinators send the selected students’ applications to the International Office, where the online applications can be imported and further processed in moveon without any manual data entry.

The online application represents a standardised and modern process for all students regardless of the faculty or exchange programme. This process is time-saving and improves the efficiency in your International Office.

2- moveonline incoming – online application for incoming students

moveonline incoming provides you with an online application process for incoming students. Students applying to your institution must complete and submit an online application form on your website. A PDF version of the application is then printed and signed by the students and the responsible coordinators at the home institution. These documents are then sent to the International Office, where the online applications can be imported and further processed in moveon without any manual data entry.

3- moveonline cooperations - online publication of international cooperations

moveonline cooperations enables you to publish all international cooperations managed in moveon on your institution’s website. Anyone seeking information about your international affairs can get an overview online of all your institution’s activities in regards to content and geographic location. Detailed information is also available about each individual activity and the related contact person.

With the help of interactive maps and a wide range of other search criteria, visitors to your website can easily search through the online database of international cooperations. If desired, the search can be restricted to specific types of activities such as research projects, student mobility, visiting staff, intensive courses, etc. All the information published online is updated automatically from moveon, eliminating the need for you to update your website manually.

4- moveonline exchanges - online publication of exchange agreements

moveonline exchanges enables you to publish all exchange agreements managed in moveon on your institution’s website. Students interested in exchange studies abroad no longer need to contact your International Office directly. Instead they can visit your website where they will find clearly displayed information about partner institutions and all the exchange possibilities available to them.

With the help of interactive maps and a wide range of other search criteria, students can easily search through the online database of active exchange agreements. If desired, the search can be restricted to specific countries, programmes, faculties or fields of study. All the information published online is updated automatically from moveon, eliminating the need for you to update your website manually.

5- moveonline reports – online management and publication of student reports

moveonline reports enables you to effortlessly manage and publish outgoing students’ reports on your institution’s website. Once students have completed their exchange studies abroad, they can create an account in moveonline reports in which they can enter their personal details and create and load their reports e.g. as Word or PDF files.

The information entered by students is instantly available to the International Office and can be immediately validated and published on your institution’s website. Each student report is displayed alongside the corresponding exchange in moveonline exchanges.
